Call for Abstract

To help accelerating the energy transition, improve intersectoral collaboration and connect academia with policymakers and business sector, we are pleased to announce that ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) and the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) as the academe partner will hold the 2nd ASEAN International Conference on Energy and Environment (AICEE) in conjunction with The ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF) 2022 and The 40th ASEAN Energy Ministerial Meeting (AMEM), and also in collaboration with The 8th International Conference on Sustainable Future for Human Security (SustaiN) which will take place on 14 – 15 September 2022. The events will provide networking opportunities for academics, practitioners, and stakeholders. Moreover, the city of Cambodia, where the magnificent Angkor Wat as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites is located, would introduce the unique preserved culture and offer remarkable experiences to the participants.

This year’s AICEE is the second edition of annual flagship conference held by ACE. In the previous edition held in September 2021, the 1st AICEE had received 54 extended abstracts, accepted 44 extended abstracts to be compiled as the Conference Proceedings and invited 14 authors to present their papers. To proceed with the publication, we received 24 manuscripts and 21 are accepted to publish in the IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science Journal. The 1st AICEE was virtually convened in a partnership with Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), marking the successful start of the conference as the reference for the following editions.

The 2nd ASEAN International Conference on Energy and Environment (AICEE) is open to all participants from the university, research institutes (public and private), government institutions, and private sectors who are interested on energy and environment in the ASEAN context.

Conference Fee

Conference fee will include:
1. Publication fee.
2. Conference entrance to plenary and all parallel sessions.
3. Free entry to ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF 2022) for whole day event, by swap platform. All participants in AEBF could also access the 2nd AICEE which allow collaboration among Business – Academia – Government (triple helix).

Offline/physical participants will be charged additional fee, including seminar kit and banquet. There will also be additional cost if the participant would like to visit tourist attractions nearby the conference venue.
