Introduction

The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) is pleased to announce the 4th ASEAN Energy Youth Awards (AEYA) to recognise young students’ valuable contributions to nation-building, sustainable development, and energy transition.

The theme of the 4th award is Advancing Energy Transition and Energy Security for Sustainable Development. This award is jointly organised by ACE and supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE) of Korea and Korea Energy Agency (KEA).

Objectives

• The bring awareness and participation of youth in the promotion of the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) Phase II: 2021-2025.
• To encourage the participation of youth in the AMS in expressing their perspectives and innovative ideas for enhancing energy access and affordability sustainably.
• To engage the youth sector by using their creativity and innovation to enhance the public awareness on clean energy, community building, and sustainable environment
