The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) and Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), through the ASEAN Climate Change and Energy Project (ACCEPT), invites the submission of interest to develop research papers on energy and climate change in ASEAN.
ACCEPT, the first energy cooperation project in collaboration with the Norwegian Government under the Norwegian-ASEAN Regional Integration Programme (NARIP), aims to support ASEAN in improving the coherence between the ASEAN energy and climate policies and contribute to more climate-friendly development of the energy sector.
One of the activities is producing various thematic papers on cross-cutting energy and climate issues in ASEAN. Topics of the papers are developed to support the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) – a regional blueprint on energy cooperation, and the sustainable energy transition in the region. The papers can employ quantitative or qualitative methodologies, in all cases policy relevant.
