The Renewable Energy Support Programme for ASEAN (ASEAN-RESP), is pleased to announce the publication of Renewable Energy Guideline on Solar Photovoltaic (Small) Project Development in Malaysia and RE Guideline on Solar Photovoltaic (Large) Project Development in Malaysia. Each of these guidelines covers the step-by-step procedure for solar PV projects with a capacity smaller than 72 kWp and greater than 72 kWp respectively. The publications guide project developers to obtain a feed-in tariff as provided by the Malaysian Renewable Energy Act 2011.

The publication was developed by the Renewable Energy Support Programme for ASEAN (RESP), a jointly implemented programme by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) and Deutsche Gesellschaft fur International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) from 2013 – 2016.
