Individual electricity consumption rate was 263 kWh (kilowatt hour) in 2015-16 FY and now it has reached up to 432 kWh, according to the Ministry of Electricity and Energy.
Individual electricity consumption rate in Myanmar was 263 kWh in 2015-16 FY, 301 kWh in 2016-17 FY, 335 kWh in 2017-18 FY, 379 kWh in 2018-19 FY and 432 kWh in 2019-20 FY, according to the ministry.
The ministry was produced over 15 billion units of electricity in 2015-16 FY and it is now producing over 27 billion units of electricity. The electricity production rate is increased to over 11 billion units within five year time, according to the ministry.
