The transport sector is considered one of ASEAN’s most energy-intensive sectors. According to the 6th ASEAN Energy Outlook (AEO6), the total road vehicle in 2040 will increase approximately 2.1 times from the 2017 level, reaching 591 million units.
We inform you that ACE and the ASEAN Energy Efficiency Sub-Sector Network (EE&C-SSN) will organise the ASEAN Virtual Workshop on Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EE&C) in the Transport Sector on 19 April 2022 and be hosted by the Ministry of Mines and Energy.
The Capacity Building Workshop will serve as a platform to disseminate best practices and discuss the challenges and opportunities in EE&C in the transport sector, particularly in vehicle fuel economy, transportation system efficiency, and fuel switching via Electric Vehicles (EV).
