Singapore, 27 October 2016 – The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) launched their joint report titled Renewable Energy Outlook for ASEAN – A REmap Analysis.  The launch was conducted during a roundtable session organised by ACE and IRENA at the Singapore International Energy Week (27/10/2016), Marina Bay Sands Expo & Conventions Centre. Supported by the Renewable Energy Support Programme for ASEAN, a jointly implemented project by ACE and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the joint report looks at ASEAN’s renewable energy potentials by applying IRENA’s REmap analytical methodology and tools at a country level.
