ASEAN will hold the 39th Senior Officials Meeting on Energy (SOME) and Associated Meetings on 14-17 June 2021, hosted by Brunei Darussalam as the 2021 ASEAN Chair. During SOME, the ASEAN Member States (AMS) Senior Officials on Energy (SOE) Leaders collectively determines the implementation priorities and provides directions and advice on the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) Phase II: 2021 – 2025 to ensure coordination and integration of APAEC strategies and actions.
Furthermore, SOME guides deepening engagement with Dialogue Partners (DPs), International Organisations (IOs), the private sector, and other relevant stakeholders.
